I went deer hunting this past weekend down in SE Missouri, Texas County. This is two years in a row I haven't bagged one. It's getting a little frustrating - especially when you can hear them around you. Three years ago, my first time to take it semi-seriously, I "harvested" two doe (see photo). Beginner's luck, maybe? Possibly, I'm not taking this seriously enough; next year I probably better invest in those hanging deer estrus scent tags and do a better job covering up my own scent.
